General kitchen assistant duties Children’s Services

We are seeking a vigilant Security Guard to join our team in ensuring the safety and security of our premises. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a secure environment and upholding our safety protocols. *Responsibilities* - Conduct regular patrols of the premises to detect and deter any suspicious activity - Monitor CCTV cameras and alarms to identify potential security risks - Respond promptly to alarms and investigate disturbances - Report any incidents or breaches of security to the appropriate authorities - Implement and enforce access control procedures - Provide assistance and support to visitors and staff as needed *Qualifications* - Possession of a valid SIA Security Guard Licence - Previous experience in security or a related field is advantageous - Knowledge of first aid procedures is desirable - Familiarity with surveillance techniques and loss prevention methods is a plus - Excellent communication skills and the ability to remain calm under pressure. To carry out building repairs, maintenance, renewals and replacements within a range of trade disciplines ranging from routine reactive repairs to large scale programmed refurbishment work and occupational therapy adaptations in occupied and void housing properties and other Council owned premises in accordance with best trade practice and to current standards and regulations. Competent to a professional standard in both quality and output in a minimum of four trade disciplines covering; Plumbing/Carpentry/Plastering/Electrical and/or Part P/Tiling/Painting & Decorating/Gas Safe.

Duties will include:care coordination of complex cases under CPA, developing co-produced care plans with service users, risk assessment and management, safeguarding, holistic assessment of mental health and social care needs, conducting Care Act assessments, working with carers and wider support networks, partnership working with other statutary and voluntary organisations, liaison with inatient units, accurate record keeping and report writing. Must have experience of working with adults with psychosis and complex needs, experience of Care Act assessments and reviews, Must be organised, able to manage their time effectively and prioritise their workload, must have good interpersonal skills and be able to engage with service users with diverse backgrounds, must be able to work as part of a team with a range of professionals, Must have a good knowledge of relevant legislation, policy & procedure including Safeguarding, Mental Health Act, Care Act and Mental Capacity Act.
